Yesterday morning I got a call from +914044336931.
Here is how the conversation went:
He: Sir, I am calling from Bharti AXA Investments. We have this new plan…. (blah blah blah blah)
I : Sorry, but I am not interested.
He: Then why did you request for this call from our representative?
I : I never ever told you to call me. To the contrary, a few days ago I asked you never to call me again. I have registered in the Do not call registry and if you call me again, and I will complain.
He: To whom will you complain sir? You cannot do anything against us. You cannot even dream of winning a case against Bharti AXA Investments. Nobody can do anything against us. You try complaining and you will lose.
I: Hmm.. Let us see.
I knew that there is no point in complaining against these corporate giants. It is just that they suck and we can do nothing about it. But still I had to do something about it and hence I am publishing this here. At least my small number of readers will read about these arrogant people who lose their humility and think they are invincible when they become successful.
If any of you can tell me how we can respond to these corporate biggies, tell me that too.

For ensuring maximum politeness from your side you could even consider saying a sorry right before pressing this magic button. Try doing that next time and save your day before any one drag you to the spoiler conversation.

Complain Complain Complain. The reason they get away with this crap is no one bothers complaining. Call your Mobile Company and complani that Bharti AXA is not respecting the DND list. Than go to TRAI’s website and register a complaint. The corporates who are pissing us off, have made a calculation, that so few people complain that its worth calling. If more people complain this math wont be true.
I go after the asshole callers. Whenever someone lies or tries to be abusive I just put the phone on speaker phone, listen and act like I’m interested. I ask a bunch of questions, and about 40 minutes later hang up. They then call back a bunch and waste even more of their time. I have nothing against those people in general, just the ones that act like assholes, and the biggest thing to piss them off is to just waste their time.
I got the call 4th time yesterday in the pas 2 weeks!!! I shouted @ them!! Let me see if they call me againa!!! I had already told them not to call me 2 times….. Noting works in India! Do not call register, consumer court, online grievance!!!

If this is a regular occurrence and you have a smart phone, look into ways of recording the call. That ought to give you a fine stepping stone for claiming compensation either via TRAI or the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum.
Next time they call you, tell them you are interested and you need to know more details about it. As them to come in person, and explain it to you. When they come, tell them not to disturb you again. Maybe that will teach them that we are more powerful.

I don’t know how I am going to deal with this.
The problem is that I have a lot of other things to do and so I don’t have time to deal with spammers.
