There is good content and then there is great content.
If you write good content, Clear may not be the theme for you. But, if you think your content is great, if you think your content should capture the hearts of people, you may just want to take a look at this theme.

Clear is the perfect theme for great authors. It is clean, clear and beautiful. It is minimalistic one-cloumn theme with the widgets all arranged at the bottom. Clear was designed to make your content stand out and make everything else get out of the way. Check it out and you will fall in love with it.
Gravatars is supported in this theme, but it is recommended to turn it off.

Any way to extend the vertical length of the footer? When I try doing it in the stylesheet, it breaks the vertical borders.
Thanks and great theme!
dbase: I have the same issue and wold love to know how to fix it.
# dbase:
I looked at the stylesheet and it’s left the padding for the “Main” section that’s doing this. He’s got it set at 723. If you set it to 0, the header and footer no longer break apart, but unfortunately all the content in the main area is now misaligned by being too far to the left. I don’t really know CSS but I’m going to fool around with it, though I doubt it’s an easy fix. It’s a shame because this is a really good-looking theme.
David,
I will fix the issue as soon as I get enough time to do it, probably by this weekend.
Thanks, Niyaz
Hey, Niyaz, I hope you don’t mind, but over the weekend a coder friend of mine fixed the issue with the header and footer losing alignment when the screen is resized.
If anyone’s interested, the changes need to be made in the style.css file.
First, remove this line from #main {
padding-left: 170px
Then, add this: padding-left: 100px;
to under the following two sections:
#content {
and
.footer-sidebar {
Hope this helps someone!
simple and powerfull. thanks niyaz!
i am unable to edit the “Header” element in the blogger version .. and how can i get the sidebars to it in the blogger version?

Hi again, thank you David for the input on how to solve the breaking issue, works great.
This theme encounters problems with the RSS-feed connection with WordPress admin-panel, when changing from summary to complete posts nothing happens.
The feed still delivers a summary of each post, this is a problem when blog-tools like Twingly tries to find links in the posts via the RSS-feed, so if someone could help out with this I would be thankful!

Hi there! Love the theme, especially for what i’d like to use it for.
Trying to modify the header image and have scoured the header.php file as well as the stylesheet and still don’t know where to put the image tag.
Any help on this?
thank you! (I’m kind of new at this…sheepish look)
